Over the last decade India has witnessed a euphoric rise in renewable energy. The sector has seen a growth rate of 396% in the last eight years and currently the combined installed capacity for renewable energy stands at 193.57GW. With India aiming to further reduce greenhouse gases and having made pledges of decarbonisation in different sectors of its economy, renewable energy sector is set to grow further.
