International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA) constituted a Committee of Experts to make suggestions on onshoring the Indian innovation to GIFT IFSC. The Expert Committee submitted its report in August 2023. The report delves into the reasons for Indian startups flipping their ownership structure and makes comprehensive suggestions that may be implemented to avoid externalization of startups in the future and also to make an effort to persuade startups that are presently externalized to redomicile / reverse- flip back to India.
