Shivani
has a strong focus on corporate and commercial advisory as well as employment
law, with experience across diverse industries and geographies.
As
a dual qualified lawyer who has worked with leading firms in New York and the
UAE, Shivani’s global exposure and breadth of practice helps her in handholding
India entry strategy for foreign companies. She regularly advises clients on
business structuring, legal and regulatory compliance, and internal policy
frameworks. Shivani is also actively involved in drafting and negotiating
commercial agreements and provides in-depth opinions and memos on complex
issues.
In
addition to commercial agreements and arrangements, Shivani advises
multinational corporations on employment and labour law matters concerning
their operations in India. Her advice includes conducting investigations,
drafting and implementing employment contracts, policies and handbooks,
managing employee terminations and separations, advising on disciplinary
actions, and ensuring compliance with local labour laws and regulatory
requirements.
Shivani’s
expertise also extends to handling Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) and
Anti-Bribery & Anti-Corruption (ABAC) investigations. She provides clients
with end-to-end support on ABAC and POSH compliance, including formulating
policies, training internal committees, conducting investigations, and offering
advisory support to maintain a safe and legally compliant workplace
environment.
