Sana has comprehensive experience in advising clients engaged in e-commerce, technology and financial services including in relation to business and product structuring, data privacy and security governance frameworks, digital platform terms and policies, internal company policies, drafting and negotiations for extensive commercial agreements and matters pertaining to consumer protection. She has also done substantive work and has advised clients engaged in businesses across sectors on cybersecurity laws in India and implementation of relevant cybersecurity and data protection framework.
She regularly advises clients on e-commerce, payments and data protection framework in India including review of business models in light of applicable laws and upcoming legislations, compliance requirements, structuring and restructuring of commercial arrangements as well as review of internal policies of clients such as terms and conditions and privacy policies.
In the past Sana has assisted foreign clients in structuring their business models in India in view of exchange control regulations in India. She also has experience in advising clients on nuanced legal queries pertaining to the fintech sector as well as regulatory risks and compliance frameworks for various businesses.
In the employment law sector, Sana has previously extensively advised clients in matters pertaining to termination of employees, assessment of allowances and wage classification in light of the social security framework in India as well as end to end assistance in preparation of labour law checklists for various businesses in different jurisdictions in India.
